Assignment #1: Defining Philosophy and the Toolkit

1. Research the term "philosophy."  Find a definition that strikes you as inclusive and instructive and bring it to class.

2. Begin reviewing/studying the "Philosophy Toolkit."

3. Review all handouts mentioned in the syllabus (viz., handouts CL, QAHO, CR1, 2, and 3).

4. Purchase a copy of the text.
